Choose Your Shower Glass
The glass you choose affects the color, privacy, and overall appearance of your shower enclosure. Southern Glass Solutions offers six glass options for custom frameless shower doors.
Clear
A classic option that keeps the bathroom feeling bright and open. Clear glass has a natural green tint that may be more noticeable along the edges.
Satin
A soft, frosted glass that provides privacy while still allowing light into the shower.
Bronze
A warm bronze-tinted glass that adds color and a distinctive appearance to the bathroom.
Low-Iron Starphire
Low-iron glass reduces the green tint found in standard clear glass, providing a clearer and more color-neutral appearance.
Rain
A decorative textured glass that adds privacy and visual interest to the enclosure.
Gray
A cool gray-tinted glass that creates a darker, modern appearance.

Protective Options for Your Shower Glass
Add an extra layer of protection to help your new shower glass maintain its appearance over time. Southern Glass Solutions offers HydroClear and EnduroShield with all of our shower-glass choices.
Protective glass options reduce buildup and make regular maintenance easier, but the glass will still need to be cleaned.
HydroClear Glass
HydroClear includes a permanent protective surface designed to resist corrosion caused by repeated exposure to water, heat, and humidity. This helps the glass maintain its clear appearance instead of becoming dull or etched over time.
EnduroShield Glass Treatment
EnduroShield is a hydrophobic treatment that helps repel water, soap scum, and grime, making the glass easier to clean and maintain.
Applied to New Glass
Southern Glass Solutions applies EnduroShield only to new glass. Beginning with a clean, uncontaminated surface allows the treatment to bond properly and prevents existing mineral deposits, soap residue, or staining from being sealed beneath it.

Your shower-door hardware can match the fixtures already in your bathroom or introduce a completely new look. Southern Glass Solutions offers 13 finish options for hinges, handles, knobs, clips, sleeve-over clamps, headers, and other shower hardware.

Complete your shower enclosure with hardware that fits the way you use the space and the style of your bathroom. Southern Glass Solutions offers more than 30 handle options, along with several knob and towel-bar combinations.
Pull Handles
Choose from round, square, ladder, mitered, traditional, and decorative pull-handle styles. Available sizes and finishes depend on the selected handle and shower-door system.
Knobs
Choose from our wide variety of shower door knobs to complete your enclosure. From clean, squared designs for a modern look to rounded, more traditional styles, we have options to fit just about any bathroom and design.
Towel Bars
Choose from our selection of towel bars to add both style and function to your shower enclosure. From clean, modern designs to more traditional styles, we have options to complement your hardware and complete the look of your shower.
Frameless Shower Door Hinges & Support Hardware
The right hinge and support hardware depend on the weight of the glass, the size of the door, and the enclosure layout. Southern Glass Solutions offers several hinge profiles and mounting styles so the working hardware can match the enclosure design.

Header-Supported Enclosures
When a shower door would otherwise hang from a fixed glass panel, Southern Glass Solutions prefers a low-profile header-supported design whenever the layout allows. The header adds stability while maintaining a clean, open appearance.
Fixed-Panel Hardware
Sleeve-over clamps are our preferred option for securing fixed glass panels. When a sleeve-over clamp is unavailable in the customer’s selected finish, we use matching glass clips.
Support bars are used only when the enclosure requires additional support or when requested by the customer. Square hardware receives a square support bar, while rounded hardware receives a round support bar.

Available glass and hardware options depend on the type of shower enclosure. Southern Glass Solutions will help you determine which choices are compatible with your project.
Frameless Shower Doors
Choose from our complete selection of frameless glass, hardware finishes, hinges, handles, knobs, towel bars, clamps, headers, and support hardware.
Semi-Frameless Sliding Shower Doors
Available with clear or Pattern 62 glass in 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch thicknesses. Southern Glass Solutions generally recommends 1/4-inch glass because its lighter weight places less strain on the rollers, track, and operating hardware.
Sliding systems are available in silver, brushed nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, and matte black. Round tubular towel bars come standard, with other configurations available depending on the selected system.
Framed & Semi-Frameless Swinging Shower Doors
Available with 1/4-inch clear or obscure glass. These systems can be designed as a single door or combined with inline panels, return panels, and glass installed over knee walls.

New Custom Shower Enclosures
A new enclosure provides the widest selection of glass types, thicknesses, finishes, handles, hinges, and accessories. We will help you
choose options that work together and fit the shower layout.

Shower Door Repairs
Replacement hardware must be compatible with the existing glass thickness, measurements, holes, notches, and cutouts. We will inspect the enclosure and determine which replacement options will work with the existing glass.

Hardware Color Upgrades
Existing frameless shower hardware can often be changed to a new finish without replacing the glass. We recommend replacing each visible hardware piece so the hinges, handle, clips, sleeve-over clamps, header, and support hardware have a clean and uniform appearance.
