OPTIONS MADE SIMPLE
Explore every window style.
Find the right fit for your home.
From familiar double-hung windows to garden, bay, and specialty designs, compare how each style works and what to consider. We’ll help you narrow the choices during your consultation.

Double-Hung Windows
Two sashes slide vertically, giving you ventilation from the top or bottom. A traditional choice for many home styles.

Awning Windows
Hinged at the top, these windows open outward from the bottom. They work well for ventilation in smaller openings or paired with fixed windows.

Picture Windows
Fixed windows that do not open. They bring in daylight and preserve a broad view, and can be combined with operating windows for ventilation.

Casement Windows
Hinged on one side, casement windows crank outward. They provide an open view and are useful where reaching a sliding sash is awkward.

Sliding Windows
One or more sashes move horizontally. This style can suit wide openings and areas where an outward-swinging window would be inconvenient.

Architectural Windows
Arched, round, and other specialty shapes can help retain your home’s character or create a distinctive focal point.
FRAME MATERIALS
Choose The Look.
Understand The Tradeoffs.
The right material depends on your home, maintenance preferences, design goals, and budget. Compare the complete window and its specifications, not just the frame material.
PRACTICAL & LOW UPKEEP
Vinyl Windows
A popular choice for homeowners seeking low maintenance frames and a range of configurations. Vinyl does not require the routine painting associated with exposed wood.
WOOD INSIDE, PROTECTION OUTSIDE
Aluminum-Clad Wood Windows
A wood interior paired with exterior aluminum cladding gives homeowners a wood finish indoors with less exposed wood outside.
TRADITIONAL CHARACTER
Wood Windows
Wood offers a familiar architectural appearance with paint or stain options, depending on the product. It can be a good fit when preserving the character of a home matters.
WOOD-LIKE DETAILING
Cellular PVC Windows
Cellular PVC can provide traditional profiles using a material that does not suffer wood rot. It is different from the hollow extruded vinyl frames used in many replacement windows.
Ask about the materials and product lines available for your project. Final options and pricing are confirmed in your written estimate.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE IT YOURS
Glass, Grids & Finishing Touches
Insulated Glass
Double-pane and available triple-pane configurations use sealed spaces between panes to reduce heat transfer. The right choice depends on the complete window’s performance, your goals, and the available product line.
Privacy & Decorative Glass
Obscure glass can bring daylight into bathrooms or other private spaces while limiting visibility. Pattern, safety-glass requirements, and availability depend on the location and product.
Low-E & Gas Options
Low-E coatings help control heat transfer through glass. Some units also use argon or krypton gas between panes. These features are not identical across products; we’ll review the actual glass package.
Colors & Interior Finishes
Coordinate your windows with your siding, trim, and interior. Available colors, paint or stain finishes, hardware, and screens vary by manufacturer and material.
Choose Your Grid Look
No Grids
A clear, uninterrupted view with a simple appearance.
Grids between the glass (GBG)
A divided-light look with grids sealed inside the glass unit, leaving the glass surfaces easier to wipe.
Simulated divided lights (SDL)
Applied bars create a more traditional appearance. Some configurations include an internal spacer bar.
Interested in decorative glass or between-glass blinds? Ask about compatible products. These options are not available in every window or door line.
COMFORT YOU CAN PLAN FOR
Look Beyond
“Energy Efficient."
Glass, frame construction, weatherstripping, and installation all affect how a window performs. We’ll help you compare the ratings that matter for your home and the exact products in your estimate.
Sun-facing rooms: Discuss glass that helps limit unwanted solar heat.
Cold-weather comfort: Compare the window’s insulating performance.
Drafts: Evaluate both the window and the installation around it.
Energy savings depend on your existing windows, home, climate, and selected products. We do not promise a fixed reduction in your utility bills.
A simple guide to window ratings
U-factor
Measures heat transfer through the product. A lower value indicates better insulating performance.
Solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC)
The fraction of solar heat admitted through the window. Lower values admit less solar heat.
Visible transmittance (VT)
Indicates how much visible light passes through. Higher values mean more daylight.
Air leakage
Measures air passing through the window under test conditions. Lower values indicate less leakage; this rating may be optional.
NFRC ratings help compare products. ENERGY STAR certification is tied to product performance and climate-zone requirements.

THE RIGHT SCOPE FOR YOUR HOME
What are we actually replacing?
“Window replacement” can mean different things. We assess the existing opening and explain what stays, what comes out, and what finishing work is included.
Full-Frame Replacement
Removes the existing window frame so the opening can be assessed and a new window installed. It may be appropriate where the frame is deteriorated or the project calls for a more extensive change.
We’ll clarify trim, exterior finish, flashing, and any additional repairs in the scope.
Insert Replacement
A new replacement unit is fitted within a suitable existing frame. This approach depends on the frame being sound and the opening being appropriate.
We’ll explain how the new frame affects the visible glass area and existing trim.
Sash or Glass Replacement
Some problems can be addressed by replacing the sash or glass while keeping suitable existing components. A sash kit and an insert window are different solutions.
We’ll discuss which approach fits the condition of your windows and your goals.
