In many cases, we can replace clear or outdated glass while keeping your existing door or window frame. Choose from a variety of privacy glass, decorative glass, and select film options to create the right balance of privacy, natural light, and style for your home.
Where We Install It
Privacy & Decorative Glass for Windows and Doors
In many cases, we can remove the existing glass and install new privacy or decorative glass while keeping the original wood or metal frame, as long as the glass can be safely removed.
Entry Doors
Replace clear or outdated glass while keeping the existing door when the glass can be safely removed.
Sidelights
Add privacy or coordinate new decorative glass with the rest of the entryway.
Transoms
Create a statement above an entry door while allowing natural light into the home.
Bathroom Windows
Obscure the view without completely blocking the natural light.
Privacy and decorative designs can also be built into insulated double-pane glass when the opening requires an insulated unit. Direct-glazed or flush-glazed doors may be an exception because the glass is built directly into the door.

Custom Decorative Glass for Your Home
Decorative glass can transform an ordinary entryway into a statement piece that feels more personal to your home.
Southern Glass Solutions offers custom decorative glass using available patterned glass, bronze or gray-tinted glass, and beveled glass. These options can be combined to fit the style of your entry door, sidelights, transoms, or windows.
The amount of privacy depends on the selected design. Clear beveled glass creates sparkle and detail but may provide limited privacy on its own. Combining beveled or tinted glass with patterned privacy glass can create a more obscured view.
Bronze
A warm bronze-tinted glass that adds color and a distinctive appearance to the bathroom.
Gray
A cool gray-tinted glass that creates a darker, modern appearance.
A Less Permanent Option
Privacy Film, Decorative Film & Window Tint
Not sure you want to make a permanent change to your glass? Film can give you another way to explore privacy, pattern, or a darker appearance while keeping the existing glass in place.
Southern Glass Solutions offers frosted privacy film, decorative film, and dark window-tint options through our film-installation partner. The selected film is applied directly to the existing glass.
